You will notice some minor changes to the Hillcrest webpage
over the next few days. This is due to a change of
responsibilities among the Hillcrest administration.
As mentioned in a previous update, Mr. Jeff Isaac now handles more
of the day to day school operations, and I am focused on
alerting our extended school community to the financial
needs of the school. You will soon see his picture
with this website column. I have moved to another
webpage of the Hillcrest website.
While I have your
attention, I am excited to announce that our new Student
Activities Center will be used this spring for some very
important gatherings. The first is an Auction
sponsored by the HLA Parent Advisory Team. It will
take place on April 23rd beginning at 5pm with a
Chili and Corn muffins feed. The auction begins at
6:30pm. You will find more information in this
website. The second event is a Band Concert, scheduled
for May 3rd. Then on the 7th of May, we
will host the Spring Building for Tomorrow Closer Banquet.
This event will celebrate the progress on the construction
project, and give guests the opportunity to experience the
new facility. Finally, we will conclude the school
year with the graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2005
during the weekend of May 27-29. We haven't
held graduation on the Hillcrest campus since 1972.
You can't imagine how
excited we are with the progress. God is faithful!
Over the next four months we’ll keep asking more people to
contribute to this excellent improvement to the campus.
Pray for generous and joyful giving, so work can continue
right on schedule throughout this spring. We’ve come
this far, let’s finish the work. Thank you for your
financial and prayer support for Hillcrest Lutheran Academy!
