Dear Friends and Supporters of Hillcrest Lutheran Academy,
As I walk through the many buildings on our campuses, I’m filled with gratitude and awe at God's incredible work in and through Hillcrest. It’s heart-warming to witness how our students grow in their faith and friendships.
From our earliest days, Hillcrest’s mission has been generously funded by faithful friends and supporters. This unwavering support has kept our tuition affordable, ensuring families aren’t deterred by what would otherwise be a significant financial barrier. Each student benefits from the Hillcrest Fund, which subsidizes tuition by approximately $5,000 on average. Without this fund, our tuition would be significantly higher, and many parents might never consider Hillcrest as an option for their children.
However, I must share a pressing concern as we approach the year’s end. Our giving levels are down this year, and we are experiencing the strains that many other ministries and non-profits are feeling globally. Hillcrest has been here before, and God has always raised generous, faithful people like you who share our vision. We invite you to step forward as the year comes to a close and be part of what He is doing at Hillcrest.

“The dorms are amazing, but they could be so much more”
Why would a family living in Fergus Falls enroll their daughter in the dorms at Hillcrest? The dormitory is more than a resident hall where students sleep—it is the heartbeat of the Hillcrest community that holds the model for how we disciple in building faith, developing intellect, and strengthening character. For students like Eva Tjelta and Valen Corsato, roommates in Hillcrest’s Castle this year, the dorm experience gives them a place of growth, faith, and deep connection.
