This week, President Brad joins two of our lower school teachers who have benefitted from a number of opportunities provided by the Generations Campaign, the capital campaign Hillcrest is currently raising support for. Ashton Fuhs and Julie Stender talk about the new lower school building and the training they've received for Classical Christian instruction at the lower school. These are two of the many benefits Hillcrest is reaping from the Generations campaign.

Despite the loss, Hillcrest Head Coach Debi Foss expressed pride in her team, highlighting their perseverance and teamwork throughout the game. Foss acknowledged the team's first-game mistakes, such as miscommunication and errors, but emphasized that these experiences are all part of a continuous process of learning and growth.

The contest, held at Danielsen Field at Hillcrest, was a thrilling display of both teams' prowess as they battled for dominance on the pitch.

Building faith, specifically through spiritual disciplines like prayer is useful in fortifying identities and bonding a network to support teens and eventually young adults in the challenges they’ll face later in life. The use of prayer and spiritual formation at Hillcrest gives young people an invaluable aid in handling both victory and failure with an invigorated sense of purpose and identity.

Erik Bjorndahl arrived at the threshold of his last round of golf with Hillcrest yesterday. With years of formation behind him, he stepped to the tee box at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker, Minnesota, as one of the best athletes in Class A golf.

Students are surrounded by a chaotic and difficult world where feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and depression are prevalent. Students spend most of their developing years at school, which has the opportunity to guide students in understanding the world's chaos, both internally and externally.

At Hillcrest, we’ve seen how Classical Christian education and purposed mentorship presents an incomparable way of approaching the quest for joy that overcomes the fleeting nature of circumstantial happiness. Students follow the leadership of teachers in a similar way to Berge Revne. Replacing the voice of E.M. Broen is the voice of Gregg Preston and Gaylen Peterson, Karina Larson, and Augusta Ewan. The Lord is using the lessons and hearts they’ve passed to students throughout the year to inspire a group of seniors to join Jesus on His mission in Albania and encourage the Albanian church.

Allowing Scripture to shape actions guides students not simply to understand lessons to pass a test but to build habits and rhythms that concepts learned in the classroom should have a rhetoric or communication element to bear their truth to the world.
