“We got out to a fast start and then we stalled out and really struggled to get anything going the rest of the game,” noted Hillcrest Head Coach Hannah Clark. “…”Tonight was a great opportunity for our young girls to show grit and demonstrate a wherewithal to figure out how to win a close game when things just weren’t clicking for us on either end of the floor. I was really proud of how they finished out the game.”

With a remarkable three-game winning streak, Hillcrest (3-2) looks ahead to their pre-Christmas clash in Graceville. Coach Garvin acknowledged the lack of offensive rhythm and rotation but emphasized the bigger picture. "Those things will come," he said. Hillcrest Academy's Lower School creates a unique blend of activities that drive students’ educational journey forward. Activities like the annual gingerbread house making and class-led chapel services welcome parents on campus.

The girls were on a family group excursion, where they would drive around town to look at Christmas lights, listen to music, and reminisce on the things they love about Christmas.

The echoes of the tough loss to West Central Area still lingered as the Hillcrest Comets stepped onto the court for a Saturday afternoon thriller against Fridley’s Avail Academy. Determined to rebound from the defeat, the Comets faced a formidable challenge in Avail, known for their potent offensive prowess.
